About us

We are the fordyce family

Queener Farm is operated by Fordyce Farm inc. The Queener stand in Scio is open now Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-5pm until mid-November. In winter we are open by appointment January through April for scionwood pickup.

Graham Fordyce is a third generation farmer in the Willamette Valley. He and his wife Christina co-own and operate Fordyce Farm inc. with his father Raymond Fordyce. You’ll find the Fordyces hopping between their two farms, Fordyce Farm inc. in Salem and Queener Farm here in Scio. They raise berries, tree fruit, pumpkins, heirloom tomatoes, and more at the Salem location.

Fordyce Farm inc. is a small, family-owned farm in Salem, Oregon. We began in 1959 when Bob Fordyce started a small strawberry stand... Over the years our farm and family have grown. Raymond Fordyce, Bob's son, continued operations in the 90s.

Raymond still owns and operates the farm, now along with his son Graham and daughter-in-law Christina since incorporating the business in 2021. In 2023 Raymond, Graham, and Christina became the owners of Queener Farm in Scio. You'll meet Graham and Christina and their four little boys during a visit to the Queener Farm. We have a diverse heritage orchard here in Scio that we are proud to say is certified organic. We would love to see you during our open season. Come visit us!

We would also love to see you at our flagship location in Salem. Visit the website for Fordyce Farm inc. for more information about our u-pick berry farm and pumpkin patch.
