Dwarf rootstock that requires support. An early producer with excellent cold hardiness, it performs better in well drained soils. Is prone to burr knots and susceptible to fire blight and collar rot.

These are 1/4" rootstock, compatible with our pencil-thickness scions. Save on shipping by purchasing single or 10-pack rootstock from us with your scionwood order. It is standard to cut down your rootstock to about 6-8” tall when ready to graft. We stock locally grown rootstock, keep it cool until shipping day, and trim it down to 8-10” long for ease of packaging, and ship to you. Be sure to keep your rootstock cool until you are ready to graft!
